What is a cool/cute name for a mobile hot dog cart business?
I’m going into business for myself and I’m starting a mobile hot dog cart business, what is a good name for it? I’m at a loss…I don’t want anything to trendy that will seem dated in five years…should I go the traditional route and think of a name that uses’s my last name…or my son’s first name…or just something fun and catchy?….Your suggestions are welcomed. Thanks! (don’t give me anything dumb or perverted about weiner’s either..cause some of you are some freaks on here and offer dumb advice/suggestions)
I don’t want any irrelevant info or spam either !
While naming any business I think one should consider following factors in mind.
1- Your target customer (Name which attract your customers, too harsh or difficult name can not be popular if target customer are not able to understand)
2- Uniqueness of name (Your name is not similar to any other’s name)
3- Representative of your business ( Name first give the basic idea of your business)
4- Business man own belief and customes (What is lucky for you try to understand)
I think if you consider the above facts seriously, may be successful in deciding a good name.

Most customers don’t care what the name on the cart is, they want GOOD FOOD, and fast service, with fair prices. Pay more attention to the quality of the food, and the freshness of the buns, and the sanitary appearance of the equipment.
Wear food service gloves and DON"T handle money with gloves on. Fresh gloves after each sale.
WASH your hands often. Don’t keep cooked dogs in water, that encourages bacteria growth, and you will have sick customers because of it. Keep them warm wrapped in foil and re heat on the grill when needed , for fast service. Have condiments in jars with closed lids, and provide long handle spoons to get the product on the dogs. Wipe the squeeze bottles frequently. Use tongs to pick up or turn dogs, not hands. Wear a hat, to keep your hair off the food.
Have a choice of at least four kinds of dogs and sausages, spicy, hot, sweet and all beef. Have a selection of mustard’s, not just one kind, same for other things, try unusual stuff like olives, shredded cheddar cheese, sauerkraut, and chopped sweet onion. Have a good selection of drinks, and keep them COLD.
A name is not that important, the quality and safety of the food is the thing that you need to focus on.

You want something catchy, using a last name only works if it sounds good.
